SpotHero is a parking reservation app, allowing customers to reserve parking throughout the country on the go. In order to utilize the widget functionality from iOS 10, SpotHero's widget experience includes all stages of booking, checking in and rating.

SpotHero's iOS 10 widget includes push notifications alerting the user their reservation is about to start, as well as right before it ends. This way, no one has to rush out and add more time in the meter.
The widget supports iOS's 3D touch, giving users quick access to searching or calling for support. On the Widget screen, users can also see their reservation QR code for easy visablity.
At SpotHero, there are various reservation types. Some require a simple QR code, while Lots and Valets can require a license plate and/or Reservation ID. Surfacing these requirements up front create a more seamless transaction.
Quick, short and reliable push notifications are timed to appear just 10 minutes before a reservation starts or ends.
When a reservation has ended, the Widget changes to allow a user to rebook their favorite spots and rate their experience.
